The Congregation's Resolution

BE IT RESOLVED that the membership of the First Unitarian Church of Des Moines, Iowa, authorizes the Board of Trustees to enter into contractual arrangements for the purpose of carrying out building improvements and an addition consistent with conceptual plans presented to the Congregation by the Building Committee at the special congregational meeting on this date of May 14, 2006, and;

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that for this purpose the Board is authorized to execute such financial transactions that may be necessary, including a mortgage encumbrance of up to $300,000 payable over a term of up to 30 years.
