Chalice Choir
The Chalice Choir is designed specifically for children in 2nd to 6th grades. The choir practices on Wednesday nights from 6:30-7:15pm in conjunction with Wednesday night programming activities and sings six times in Sunday services during the school year. In addition to learning how to sing, children become familiar with musical terms and how to read music. New singers are always welcome to join at any time! The 5th Principle Singers
The 5th Principle Singers is a choir for children age 4 and older. Children learn songs from a number of faith and cultural traditions including Christian, Hindi, Pagan, Mexican Catholic, and Unitarian Universalist. Choir practice is from 10:00 – 10:25 am on Sunday mornings, with parents dropping off and picking up their children. In choir, we have fun as well as learn the basics of musical pronunciation and performance. Children are invited to join at any time. The Singers perform at most intergenerational services. We have some 3rd and 4th graders who either do both choirs or can’t do the Chalice Choir, and we want parents to know that they are still welcome.
