General Assembly 2018
General Assembly (GA) is the annual meeting of our Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA). In 2018, from June 20-24, GA will be in Kansas City, MO. Through workshops, lectures, sermons, social justice actions, & just hanging out, we connect with UUs from around the world, and open our eyes to new ways of thinking about our life as a congregation and our own paths. And it’s a TON OF FUN!
Who can attend? And how do you sign up?
Anyone may attend GA, but you must be a member to be a voting delegate.*
- STEP 1: Make a housing reservation – hotels near the convention center fill quickly!
- STEP 2: Decide if you want to reduce or avoid the registration fee by volunteering or getting a scholarship – applications for these will be accepted thru March 31. See applications online.
- STEP 3: Register for GA – rates will go up May 1.
*Delegates can debate & vote in plenary sessions to shape the agenda for the UUA in years to come. (See below for information on being a delegate)
