Has COVID-19 inspired you? Has it frustrated you? How have you been channeling your creative spirit for the past year?
Wherever this pandemic time has taken you, we’d like you to share it with our community!
The Stewardship team is planning a virtual art and music festival to be held early next year.
The festival will virtually display 2 and 3-dimensional artwork by our members over the course of a fun evening of music by our talented members.
You are one of those many talented folks! Whether you take photos, draw, paint, sculpt, woodwork, ceramics, knit, weave, illustrate. comic art – whatever you do, we are inviting you to participate in the first-ever all-church art and music event.
Here’s how it will work:
You submit a photo of your artwork with a brief artist’s statement. We will display your artwork, along with the artwork of other church members during the art and music festival.
The artwork will be reproduced as prints, posters, postcards, and notecards for purchase by our members, with all proceeds benefiting the church. If you choose to donate your original artwork to the church, we will auction off the original art as a fundraiser for the church.
If you choose to not donate your artwork, that’s fine. We will include your information on the back of any reprints that are sold and you retain all rights.
Whether you are a professional artist or one of our many talented members who enjoy the creative process, we need your artwork to make this happen!
We welcome any high-school age youth to participate.
Please pass this onto anyone you know might be interested.
We would like to have a list of all artist participants by the first week in January.
Please be so kind and respond to firstname.lastname@example.org whether or not you’ll participate!
Thanks for your consideration, and your support for this congregation.
