Humanism Class Begins January 7

Humanism is a philosophy for those in love with life. Not finding solace in prefabricated answers to the great questions of life, humanists enjoy the open-endedness of a quest and the freedom of discovery that this entails. This class’ exploration will offer, as a guide, the book Creating Change through Humanism by Roy Speckhardt, executive director of the American Humanist Association since 2005.

  • No need to pre-enroll – just show up on Sunday, January 7, at 10 a.m., in Room 105.
  • You do not need to have the book ahead of time – just come for the first discussion.

Humanist Society members please note: the Humanism class takes the place of the regular January meeting of the Humanist Society of Iowa. See you in class!
