Lens of the Future: 1-6-2021

The Lens of the Future committee is continuing to monitor the incidence of COVID-19 infections in the community and the status of the indicators that have been adopted by the Board. We continue to see higher numbers in the last week in relation to the 14-day average positivity rate for tests in Polk County. As of January 6, 2021 the 14-day rolling average positivity rate for Polk County was 33.69%.

Because of this rate the church remains at Level 0, which does not allow for any in-person meetings or building use, except as specifically authorized by the Board. The rate must currently be below 10% before the committee considers the possibility of having outdoor in-person meetings. The committee does not expect to recommend any change in the current status in the near future.
