Upset about proposed bills that are discriminatory and hurtful to the LGBTQ+ community? Wish you could do something about it, but aren’t sure how? The most effective way to influence government is by talking in person to our lawmakers. Join other UUs and UCCs in advocating for our queer and trans siblings by voicing your concerns and telling your stories to the leaders who are supposed to represent us. 9:30 a.m. Registration / Check-in opens10:00 a.m. Lobbying training 11:00 a.m. Drive to Capitol building and reconvene11:30 a.m. Meet with legislators

Never done this before? We’ll first learn about the process and have information on the bills not yet passed, so you can feel prepared, and we’ll have experienced mentors there to support you. Not your first rodeo? Great, your confidence can help bolster those new to in-person advocacy.
