Part of the Transition Team’s charge during our two year interim between settled Ministers was to review the mission and vision statement in light of congregational input obtained during the cottage meetings held in February and March, 2018 and further distilled through the Vision Workshop held in October, 2018.
The Mission developed by a sub-committee of the Transition Team is:
To inspire spiritual growth,
To prepare for service,
To heal the world.
Our vision is to live our values as a deeply engaged community where members are free to pursue their spiritual paths and understanding of truth and are empowered to bear prophetic witness and advocate for justice.
The Board of Trustees has agreed to allow us to make this public and to invite discussion. We will make a final report to the Board with our recommendation following the Mission/Vision discussion roundtables.
