Sometimes life presents difficult situations where you just need someone to talk to, to process what is happening, and maybe to share your grief. The Pastoral Care Team, an arm of the church’s ministry, is ready to support you during these difficult times. This cadre of four long-term, trained church members is ready to listen and to care.
The Team has covenanted to share your information only among the Team and the minister. (Greater confidentiality requests are respected.)
The Team members, known as Pastoral Care Associates, have worked with those who:
- are sick or dying,
- are care giving,
- have seriously ill family members or friends,
- are losing their memory,
- have family discord,
- experienced trauma,
- struggle with loneliness, mental health issues and addiction.
If you would like pastoral care for yourself or someone else, please speak to the minister or the Pastoral Care Associate on duty by the front desk between services or call an Associate: Barb Glass, Carol Henderson, Ellen Taylor or Ann Mowery. An Associate can also be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org.
