A Home in a House Called Tomorrow

Tai Chi and Qigong are forms of ‘moving meditation’ dating back thousands of years. Research has shown health benefits from tai chi include improved balance, decreased stress, and improved immunity. Some of the forms have been shortened so they may be learned more easily. During this session, a brief history of the different forms of tai chi will be discussed, basic core principles will be described, and a modified Sun style form will be demonstrated. Everyone will have the opportunity to participate in a qigong set of movements.
