2 Forums This Week!

  • Speak to Board Leaders – 10:45 a.m. in Mary Safford Room (back of Auditorium) or on Zoom (Zoom Link #1).
  • “Preserving Out Planet With Plants” Vegan Forum & Potluck – 11:20 a.m. in Griffin Hall or on Zoom (Zoom Link #2).
    • These two events are sponsored by Green Sanctuary and led by Tow.
Tow’s forum will have three components: 1) How to break free of self-destructive eating habits; 2) Spiritual reasons for healthy eating; 3) Why a plant-based diet is good for the environment.
Transitioning to a plant-based lifestyle can seem rather daunting but often the idea of a big lifestyle change is a lot scarier than actually doing it. If you focus on making one change at a time the progression to veganism will feel quite natural. It’s important to go at your own pace and to decide on a method that works best for you.
The Plant-based Potluck will begin at about noon. Tow will prepare a main vegan dish for everyone to try. You are welcome to bring a vegan dish. Please have a recipe card beside your dish so others can take a picture of the recipe. As you eat, consider having a conversation about what you learned from Tow and your personal experiences.
