Many Rivers, One Sea: A Water Gathering Service

9:15 am and 11 am

Celebrant, Katie Allen

We come together here in beloved community to do the work of discovering and living out our values and beliefs. Through flood and drought, wellsprings of abundance and flowing rivers of change, our community is there for us and we are the church in the world. Bring with you today a small amount of water, either from somewhere you have been this summer or collected at home to symbolize the community we are a part of and the sacredness of the work you are called to as a part of First Unitarian (water will be provided for those who forget). What will you pour yourself out for this year?

This service will also include the Installation of this year’s Board of Trustees, and a ritual of gratitude and farewell for Rev. Erin Gingrich.
