Rev. Kent McKusick, UU Fellowship of Ames;
Celebrant: Jon Royal.

The Rev. Dr. Howard Thurman dedicated his life to the worth and dignity of all people. In 1944, he founded the Church for the Fellowship of All People, the first multicultural, interracial, and interfaith church in the country. In 2016, what lessons and practices might his ministry reveal to help us find our way towards justice, healing and wholeness? What is the relationship between his and our search for common ground and being people of resistance? For this pulpit exchange Sunday, we welcome the Rev. Kent McKusick who has served in Ames since 2012.
