> One in three women and one in four men are sexually violated at some point in their lives, with the majority of transgressions occurring before the age of 12. This means we have either experienced this ourselves or know someone who has. It also means we likely know perpetrators or may have hurt others ourselves. And yet, this reality remains mostly hidden. In a month focused on healing, let us ask ourselves what healing might look like for us as individuals and as a society.
