We Can’t Always Get What We Want.

Tim Wilson has been a member of First Unitarian since moving to Indianola in 2015. Prior to that, he was a member of congregations in Iowa City; Rochester, New York; Blacksburg, Virginia; and Philadelphia, which he joined nearly 35 years ago. Tim has served many volunteer roles, including board president, stewardship, bylaws revision committees (twice!) and most recently the ministerial search committee here. He joined the staff as the first-ever social justice coordinator at First Unitarian Church of Rochester. He also served on the host committee of the 2010 General Assembly in Minneapolis.

Forum: Discussing the Service

Please join us 30 minutes after our Sunday Service for a follow-up discussion on this week’s sermon “We Can’t Always Get What We Want.”. Meet new people and share and hear reflections on the service.  We will provide you with three discussion questions at the forum and then create small groups for attendees to share their thoughts.  Zoom attendees will be invited to unmute and participate in the discussion amongst themselves and then share with the large group.
