Forum: Mini-forests in Iowa
Learn about an exciting project (sponsored with the Green Sanctuary Team) to create a mini-forest at Brookview Park in cooperation with the City of West Des Moines. This tennis court-sized plot will be densely planted this spring with native species with the goal of creating a vibrant climax forest in as little as 10 years. This is something we can all do to combat climate change!
