October will be a busy month as work continues around First Unitarian! Here’s a look at what’s coming up:
Week of October 12:
Root wads will be installed outside as part of the creek restoration and the electrical rough-in will happen. Inside, the Family Support Room will be painted, drywall on the stage will be finished, and the Auditorium seats will be repaired.
Week of October 19:
Work will shift to parking area demolition and grading outside. Inside, glazing in the Family Support Room and construction of the elevator roof structure will happen.
Week of October 26:
Look for some big changes! Outside, crews will seed the nurse crop, lay the bridge deck, and install the parking lot and sidewalks. Inside, the trim work in the Family Support Room will be completed, and directional stage lighting will be installed. Elevator demolition and concrete work will also begin, which means the stairs will be closed off during this work.
