The four gospels of the New Testament permeate our daily lives and conversations in ways that are often hard to spot. What do we owe a stranger? What’s the right thing to do with our resources? You are invited into discussion about these texts from a Unitarian Universalist perspective, using historical context and scholarship to give insight into texts that have often been weaponized to achieve the opposite intentions of the original authors.
Reclaiming the Gospels meets mostly on 4th Wednesdays of the month from 6:15-7:45 p.m.
Session dates are: 9/23, 10/28, 11/13, 12/16, 1/27, 2/24, 3/24, 4/28, and 5/26. While continuous attendance provides the deepest experience, anyone can join any session.
