Soul Matters offers a distinctive small group curriculum. Its central goal is to foster circles of trust and deep listening. Groups of eight to ten committed participants will gather once (or twice!) a month with a facilitator to engage a monthly theme and nurture spiritual growth in the community.
At the beginning of each month, participants will receive a packet of materials based upon the month’s theme. From these materials, each participant is invited to choose a spiritual exercise or deep question to sit with during the course of the month. Participants will gather with their group to share their experiences of with the spiritual exercise or question, and to reflect on the theme.

- 1st AND 3rd Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. Meetings will be at the church. Facilitated by Sally Boeckholt and Eileen Jackson.
- 2nd Monday at 7:00 p.m. Meetings will be at Elaine’s home in the Waveland neighborhood (Des Moines) or Megan’s home near the church. Factilitated by Elaine Imlau and Megan Klee.
- 3rd Thursday at 10:00 a.m. Meetings will be at the church. Facilitated by Martha Sherick Shen.
