Visioning Process

Work on mission and vision is a key part of the transitional work during an interim ministry. It’s also work that many congregations choose to institute periodically during a settled ministry. During a transition, however, it’s an opportunity for members to re-discover the reasons the church is important in their lives; to reflect on the values at the heart of the church, and evoke the mission, vision, and strategic plan that will direct the congregation’s ministry in the coming years.
